Suggestive Hypnotherapy

At Hemisphere the main style of hypnotherapy used is Suggestive Hypnotherapy. This involves gathering information from you about your issues and the ways you want to improve them. I will ask you questions about causes, effects and expectations, induce a light to medium trance state and then present your subconscious with deliberately constructed positive suggestions. These suggestions will assist you in overcoming past negative habits and attitudes that are holding you back from achieving your goals.

There will be no need for you to speak during this style of hypnotherapy. You will be sitting in a relaxed state with eyes closed, listening to me speak about you overcoming your obstacles. You will be aware of everything being spoken to you as you enjoy the relaxed feelings. You cannot be made to do anything against your will or set of values. Hypnosis is simply a helpful and fast way to produce positive changes in your life in a comfortable manner.

Analytical or Age Regression Hypnotherapy

Most issues that have underlying associated trauma can be dealt with using Suggestive techniques, but sometimes issues can involve negative imprints that were set very early in childhood. This is when Age Regression techniques may be appropriate. In this form of hypnotherapy I will guide you with eyes closed to allow your mind to drift gently back through time to those earliest days.

There will be no need to relive painful events because I work at the subconscious level and all work is done in your imagination. You will look at the events as an observer and I may ask you some questions to help you recreate powerful feelings of self esteem within you. Through gentle and caring suggestions I will guide you to eliminate the affects the issue is having on you. You will then become more aware that you have choices, to continue living in the past or move onto living in the present with a bright future.

Each person has ther own unique response to this wonderful and safe way of exploring the subconscious mind.
